Wavefront is pleased to announce that several current and graduate companies in our BC Venture Acceleration Program (VAP) have placed in the Top 25 of the 2015 BCIC-New Ventures Competition.
Founded in 2000, the BCIC-New Ventures competition was established as a means of recognizing and encouraging entrepreneurship in B.C.’s technology sector. Today, the non-profit New Ventures BC Society administers and operates the competition with generous support from the public and private sectors, including title partner BCIC.

Sasset Technology
Sasset Technology Inc. is a Vancouver-based start-up developing automated software to assess risk and generate emergency escape plans for natural disasters such as earthquakes, fires, and floods. Sasset’s Enterprise Risk Management Solution stores all of your risk data in one central database. Their Mobile and web-dashboard tools facilitate collaboration in the workplace, real time asset tracking, and location-based analytics. The Community Preparedness Tool is an easy-to-use mobile app you can deploy within your community to provide notifications and empower effective communication during emergency events.
LazyMeal
LazyMeal is the quickest way of exploring tasty foods in your area for free. Their goal is to provide the fastest and most satisfying food experience.

Control Mobile
Control is a complete transaction reporting, analytics and management application for web and mobile. This mobile app geared to the B2B marketplace allows online merchants to consolidate all of their payment processing data into one consolidated tool. Merchants can access consolidated data and reports from their iOs or Android device and act on time sensitive events.
